Although I may include some really unrealistic items, I hope that some of them aren't too demanding XD

THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My Christmas Wish List
In no particular order...

1. Any back issues of art magazines that people don't want anymore e.g Photoshop Creative, Photoshop Advanced and ImagineFX OR any CD's that came with them.

2. Any scraps of fabric that are big enough to make something with approx 20x20cm and up - so offcuts of fabrics you might never use again or bought and decided you don't want anymore

3. Single Copic Ciao Markers (not sets too expensive!!!) Like if anyone's got copic ciao markers you don't use anymore or got colours you don't like then I'd like them hehe

4. Any old games that people don't want or don't play anymore (I have the use of a SNES, Sega Saturn, N64, Gameboy for old consoles - if anyones feeling really genourous then I also have a PS2, Wii, Xbox360 and DS lite )

5. Stationary from Paperchase OMG I love this place I love stickers the wrapping paper the notepads and postcards and ALL of it hehe but I don't expect anyone to buy anything new... its like if you bought some stickers on a whim but actually won't use them... etc

6. I love recieving handmade stuff like plushies and charms and art in general lol! For my birthday I got a charm, a painted mini canvas and a digital painting from people here on dA and I adore them

Some unreasonable wishes

7. Final Fantasy IX related art (commercial or your own fanart!), merch, posters, figures... ANYTHING or anything Final fantasy themed in general

8. From the shop here on dA I'd a Fella plushie XD OR anything in any size from my wishlist

9. DVD's of the Pokemon series (region 2 in english ), any amime DVDs - I don't know which series/films are good so if by any chance anyone is going to grant this wish then surprise me!

...and lastly...

10. For everyone to have a Happy Christmas filled with joy, gift giving/recieving and time with friends/family

I am still doing them - do not worry! I have oodles and poodles of university work at the moment once I catch up then I'll get right back on it - because I SO want to be doing them rather than working all the time!
